SquarePegToys® Leo Realistic Silicone Dildo

Big. Bigger. Biggest. This week I’m reviewing the largest of the three new anal toys I’ve been asked to try out for Peepshow Toys. I started with a big buttplug: the b-Vibe Vibrating Snug Plug XL. Continued with an even bigger toy: the Uberrime Bella Dildo. The biggest of this trio is the Leo Harness Dildo, a realistic silicone cock from SquarePegToys® that measures 9 inches long.

I’ve reviewed a couple of butt plugs from SquarePegToys® already: the Blunt™ Plug and the Egg Plug. These were both beautiful plugs made out of super-soft bronze silicone. The Leo dildo is made from the same stuff: US-sourced platinum grade silicone that’s odor free and body safe. Peepshow Toys is stocking the Leo in four different sizes. The “actual size” model—the one I tested—has a total length of 9 inches and a shaft circumference of 6 inches that thickens to 7 inches at the base of the shaft. This dildo is designed with a flat round base that is harness compatible, and also sports a suction cup base to help anchor the toy to a smooth surface. I’ll be listing the dimensions of the other three models later on in the review, to help you choose which size would work best for you.

As stated, this toy is a realistic dildo, meaning it was molded from an actual cock. Leo’s nine inches were used to create a detailed mold from which the finished silicone cocks emerge. And what a beautiful cock it is. The shaft is thick, bending slightly to one side, as big cocks often do. A beefy bulge is protruding along the underside of the shaft, meeting where the folds of skin—pulled back from the head—are bundled up in an amazing display of lifelike texture. Seriously, I can’t ever remember seeing a realistic dildo look quite so true to life. The glans are curved, plump, and almost totally smooth, a nice contrast to the fleshy imprints on the rest of this piece. Leo’s dick is pretty vascular, too, with swollen veins snaking the shaft, a nice thick one protruding along the upper aspect of the shaft. The silicone used in this dildo is super-soft and a deep copper color, so though it looks realistic—right down to the lines in the flesh—the color isn’t an authentic skintone. I don’t think this detracts from the finished piece, though. It’s really a stunning color for a sex toy and allows all the intricate details to stand out. Since many of the SquarePegToys® pieces are done in this color, it certainly helps one to swiftly identify particular toys, if your collection is quite large. Due to its large size, the soft silicone might make the actual size Leo a bit of a struggle for some users, especially if you don’t have a lot of experience with larger toys and/or you prefer a toy made of firmer material for penetration or internal massage. The biggest problem I have with softer toys—especially bigger ones—is penetration. Leo is a big dong, so it takes a little extra patience and a lot of extra lube to work this one inside me. While I think a firmer silicone would make initial penetration easier, I’m certain it would make it less comfortable. The benefit to the softer material is that it’s more forgiving on tight holes and tender insides. The best solution I have found for using a toy this large is to warm up with toys that are a little bit smaller, but large enough to help stretch and relax me. In the case of Leo, I started out with the Snug Plug XL (review) and another new toy, the Blush Impressions N5 (review forthcoming). Both of these “smaller” toys are very solid, so they help open me up and assist with dilating my hole so I can go on and take something larger, like Leo.

As I’ve done with all three of these Big/Bigger/Biggest toys, I’ve pre-lubed my ass with the lube shooter that came with the b-Vibe Anal Training Kit and used lots more lube on the toy. Since I knew I wouldn’t be sliding every inch of this thing in to the base right away, I lubed the top few inches only and took my time getting used to that before adding more lube to the lower inches and easing more of it inside. The soft silicone definitely makes working it in more of a challenge, but the squishier density certainly gives this toy an interesting feel once it’s inside you. And like most toys, the head is usually the most challenging part to work inside. Once you’ve got Leo started, you can take as much or as little as you like. There isn’t any rule that says a nine inch dildo is worthless if you can’t get it all the way in. While I was able to take most of it after some time (and more lube), I had just as much fun with this one when I was simply enjoying the top third of the cock. The thick shaft is definitely long enough to use as an effective handhold.

If you are up to the challenge when it comes to taking the whole thing, the suction cup base will come in handy. Called a FlushCup™, this allows the toy to sit (nearly) flush with a smooth surface during use. Some people prefer to sit on larger toys because it makes penetration easier, so the cup works great. I even attached mine to a wall to take a photo of Leo, which you can see at the top of this review. Note how the weight of the toy, coupled with the softer silicone, makes the cock hang beautifully. Seriously, you’ll admire the hell out of this piece. Like all silicone toys, they are easy to clean and will last a long time. Be sure to store these SquarePegToys® in an upright position to help lessen the chance that deformations will occur should they rest up against a surface that could permanently distort the dildo. The base on this toy makes it easy to keep it standing on end.

The base is also designed to be used with a harness. Since each version of Leo has a different girth, I’ve added an approximate diameter to the specs chart below, to help those trying to determine what size harness to use for strap-on sex or pegging. Peepshow Toys is stocking two smaller sizes of Leo (5.5 inches and 7.5 inches) as well as one that’s even bigger than “actual size” Leo (10.25 inches). So even though it was a challenge working this 9-inch dick into my ass, it turned out that it was more than worth the effort. Not only does the Leo Dildo look so beautiful, but it feels so good inside me. The silicone is soft and warms up to body temperature even during minimal thrusting, which makes Leo feel pretty realistic while it’s inside you. If the “actual size” Leo seems a little too large for your experience level, there are two smaller versions that sport the same shape and design, just with less length and thickness. And if you want something even bigger than “actual size” can provide, bump yourself up to the 1X Leo for an even bigger adventure. I’m not sure I’ll be using this colossal cock every time I want to fuck my hole, but I’m certainly happy to have it for those times when I want a nice huge dick.
