Spunk Lube

It looks like cum and it even feels like cum. This sex and jack off lube – appropriately called Spunk Lube – might just be the fun you’re looking for.

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted on Twitter by STR8cam Jeff, the guy who created and sells his own line of lubricants, including Spunk Lube, a water-based/silicone hybrid that has the appearance and consistency of semen. Since I’ve never tried his lubes before, he asked if he could send me some samples in exchange for a review on All Male Sex Toys. Last week I received the package and was happy to see that not only was I going to be testing the Spunk hybrid lubricant, but I’d also been sent his pure silicone lube to try (review of that to come).

I confess I’ve never been the biggest fan of so-called “hybrid” lubes, the type of lubricant that’s a mix of water-based and silicone. I know first-hand that water-based lubricant alone can evaporate quickly and often needs constant reapplication, and that by adding some silicone lube to the mix it can last longer. I use plenty of water-based lube when I play with toys, but I also own a lot of silicone toys, and not all silicone lubes are compatible with silicone toys. Sometimes the two can react chemically and ruin a toy. I know there are premium silicone lubes, and toys made with premium silicone and that people can often use the two together with no problems, but I usually avoid the hybrid lubes just because I don’t want to run the risk. For jacking off with my hands, I almost always use pure silicone lube, for it’s sensual feel and its ability to last a long time without the need for constant reapplication.

So for me, the appeal of Spunk Lube is that it’s supposed to look and feel like cum, and this was the main pull for my wanting to try it. I absolutely love the look of cum, especially if it’s pouring down a hard cock. I love it splattered on a face, on a chest or on a belly. I love the way it feels in my hand, especially when I get a little too close to climax and my ejaculation jumps the gun, sending a sneak preview out of my cock and down my shaft. Yes, it’s true what they say: cum makes great lube. The problem is a guy can’t usually produce the spunk without the orgasm, and once that happens the desire to stroke usually dissipates as quickly as the erection. So with Jeff’s Spunk Lube, guys now have the chance to jack with something that looks and feels just like cum.

When it was time to try the lube, I confess I was pretty damn excited. I cracked open the seal on the bottle and used the pump nozzle to put some on my fingers. (NOTE: If you’re going to buy this stuff, go for the bottle with the pump. I love the pump!) My first thought was, “Wow. This stuff really does look like cum.” I rubbed my fingers in it. My second thought was, “Wow. This stuff really does feel like cum.” I tried this small amount on my cock. Pretty damn nice! Just like real cum, the Spunk Lube has a definite dual consistency. There’s a thicker component, but also that precummy slipperiness that makes for such a nice feeling when you’re using real cum (and precum) as lube.

Just like real cum, the stuff kind of mixes together when you’re stroking. I can see why Jeff added the silicone to this stuff; it really makes it long lasting and keeps things wet. I can’t remember when any straight water-based lube or even a hybrid felt this good for masturbation.

The next time I was ready to jack (a few hours later), I once again pulled out the Spunk Lube. This time I held the pump over my erection and gave it a couple of taps. I wanted to see how realistic the lube looked pouring down from the head of my cock. I was pretty impressed with it – visually – but I wanted some feedback. I used my phone to snap a photo and promptly texted it to a few guys who wouldn’t mind seeing a pic of my cock. All three responded favorably:

After my second jack session with Spunk Lube, I wanted to take a photo for this blog post. As I had done with my own cock, I let some Spunk Lube pour down the side of my Tantus O2 Max dildo. I positioned the cummy dong next to the bottle, snapped some pics and then started to jack off the dildo. At which point I remembered: “Fuck. This toy is made of silicone.” Luckily, the silicone in the lube didn’t react with the silicone in the toy. Tantus toys are made with really high quality silicone and they claim you can even use pure silicone lube with them. Still, you probably should test it more discreetly, but it’s hard to resist pouring Spunk Lube all over your cock toys and going to town with your hands or hole. Spunk Lube is billed as being safe to use with toys of any material, so I made sure to try it on a couple of others. Works great with my stainless steel Njoy Pure Wand and made a great lube with a plastic Aneros Helix.

It’s also safe to use with condoms, so Spunk Lube would also be fun to use during sex. I haven’t tried it that way yet, but after sending the aforementioned dick shot out to some fuck buddies, I have a feeling that will be in the works. As well as it worked with toys, I’ll probably end up keeping this Spunk Lube right at my desk, for use during impromptu jack off sessions. It’s so handy, especially with the pump dispenser! (Did I mention I like that pump?) But I’ll definitely be using it during sex and toy play, too.

If you’ve always been curious about lubes that look and feel like cum, I’d definitely recommend you try Spunk Lube. It lasts a long time, looks like cum, and feels like cum. To me, it didn’t smell or taste like cum, but it certainly scores big points for visual appeal and for how damn good it feels while you’re stroking with it. You’ll probably use more of this stuff than you would any other lube, just because it it’s so fun to play around with, but it’s available in a few different sizes, for guys who just want to try it (2oz flip-top bottle), guys who want a bigger bottle (8oz pump bottle, as pictured above), and guys who want a REALLY big bottle (the 128oz jug with pump). It’s also available in multipacks.

You can order Spunk Lube right from STR8cam Jeff at the Spunk Lube website. He packs and ships it himself, and if you follow his Twitter account, you’ll note he gets that stuff shipped in record time. And while we’re talking about Str8cam Jeff, I should point out he has a webcam site: STR8cam.com* — you can visit him there as well if you like to watch naked straight guys jack off and use toys (and who doesn’t?).
